IT HAPPENED: COVID-19 GOT ME!

So, now that my solid attempt of click bait worked, I have some things I’d like to share with all of you! But first off, I want to say I’m sorry. I’m sorry to each and every one of my supporters for not keeping you updated. I’m sorry that I haven’t reached out and taken the time to share what God is doing in my life. I’m not going to make excuses, I’m just asking for your forgiveness. Moving forward, I will try to be better at keeping everyone in the loop of what’s happening in this season of life. I deeply appreciate every single one of you for your support, whether that’s been through finances or prayer. Because of all of you, I am able to say yes to the things that God has called me to. Y’all are seriously the best!!!

I mostly just wanted to give you all a quick update on what’s going on lately. So far this semester, our class has been digging into things like spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical health and what it actually means to be healthy. How we function as individuals and what all has influenced us in the way we live our lives and view the world. Different generations and how to relate to them. A lot of digging into self-awareness and learning about each other to be able to love one another well. There’s been more but those are just a few of the things we’ve covered in class. We are currently learning about spiritual gifts and what giftings we each have. I’ve been digging into a lot of scripture to see what the Bible says about all of these things. Honestly, I’m learning more outside of the classroom than I am inside of the classroom. This season is hard. It’s overwhelming. However, I am sticking with it and pushing through this season of refinement. I’m trusting that God has special things for me in this season, whatever the heck those things might be. He is good, all of the time, regardless of how I might feel.

Due to COVID-19, we have been attending class from our separate homes through video chats, thank you Jesus for technology! Things are clearly getting crazy right now and the next few weeks will consist of us just helping out wherever we can with Adventures In Missions and in the Gainesville community in general. Big changes are occurring and support is needed right now in the community, as is everywhere else. We have no idea what class will look like over the next few weeks. I ask for your sweet prayers for maintained sanity, patience, flexibility and grace. I am currently stressed over personal finances due to not being able to work because of corona virus so I would love prayer for that. Also for maintained health of all of the CGA houses, especially since we all live closely in each other’s space due to communal living.

I appreciate you all SO MUCH.

Peace out homies!

P.S. I’m loving Gainesville and Georgia in general is growing on me at a quick pace. It’s so homey and absolutely beautiful here! I’m making the sweetest new friends and being intentional in getting to know the people in my class while I’m here. Who knows, I might even stick around (God willing)!

P.P.S. Due to being semi-quarantined to the house, I have lots of time to focus on FUNDRAISING! It’s easy to get discouraged and tired when asking people to partner with you financially. Not everyone understands it and that makes it really hard sometimes. BUT I continually choose to trust God to provide for me in miraculous ways, and He has never failed me. Not even once! My next fundraising deadline is coming up quickly (March 30th) and I am $1,241 away from meeting that deadline. If you feel led to partner with me in this, I have included the support link below. If you can’t partner with me financially, I ask that you please support me in prayer. Any way of which you choose to support me will be a HUGE help! Thanks for taking the time to read this! You all ROCK.

If you’d like an opportunity to pour into the Gainesville community during COVID-19, now is the time! All Adventures In Missions short-term missionaries are returning home due to corona virus, I can’t imagine how they must be feeling having to leave the field so abruptly. They weren’t prepared to come home at this time and are in need of numerous resources. You can Venmo or PayPal me if that’s something you’re interested in!
